Default Need new HID kit! (need suggestions)

I currently have a 2006 is250 with 55w ballasts and 6k blubs from vvme. They have blown out whether it be the bulb or ballast and ive had to replace them each about 3 times this past year.

What HID kits do you guys suggest for that white crystal clear projection.... I would really like for them to match my 6k LED fog lights.

I recently bought 35w digital ballasts for my moms sentra and they seem to run much much cooler.

Any links for a HID kit you guys know of would be awesome. Thanks so much.

Try using a 35w kit. Past few 55w kits, the driverside ballast always went out. 35w seems to still run strong.

I have always used DDM tuning for my HID needs. They have a lifetime warranty on their ballasts. Never had issues with them and some of their kits are cheap as $30.

I have been through 2 DDM tuning kits in my previous vehicles and had LOTS of issues. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

The one I've had for a while now is from the retrofit source. I highly recommend them. They use Morimoto ballasts which are one of the best ones out there.

I've had 35w 6k front and 6k fogs for almost 3 months and no problems so far. My low beams came with factory HIDs so I just needed to change the bulb to a 6000k one. I would suggest kbstuff.com. Since you're looking for the whole kit all together, I wouldn't suggest Philips bc it's on the expensive side. There's xenondepot, morimoto, garrax, Philips bulbs. All of these have been known for being really reliable except I'm unsure which brands sell them as a kit

Ive used DDM in the past and while I havent had any issues on my 2013 Camry I opted to upgrade to the TRS Ballasts with Morimoto XB35's....(better color accuracy)

I think the main thing is to stick with 35 watt. When I upgraded my IS to 6k I also am running the Morimoto XB35. Great bulbs in my opinion. DDM is hit or miss.

Not exactly the best picture... but you can kinda tell that the right headlight kinda looks almost yellow. In person its much more noticeable!
