Default What to use to clean interior fabric?

My IS250 has the cashmere/beige colored interior. What is a good way/product to clean the pillars, headliner, vanity mirrors etc?

Stains are not that bad but annoys the hell out of me when I spot them.

Do you have photos of the stains?

For glass and mirrors, you can use stoner glass cleaner (can find at Costco, Walmart and other places). It is safe for tints as well.

For your pillar and dash, you can try water and a soft towel (don't use too much pressure) and see if that removes most of the dust and stain spots. You can step up to an interior detailing product like Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer (OTC stuff). I personally use Optimum No Rinse and diluted it with water in a spray bottle for an interior well maintained or Optimum Power Clean for more 'soiled' interiors to get the tougher stains out.

I use 303 aero space cleaner for dash and door panels as they are extremely sensitive. I purchased a bottle off amazon for 13 bucks and it works great

For seats I use Luxol leather cleaner and conditioner they have. Done me wel and if you follow the directions you'll have great results

I've never touched the headliner as it can cause it to sag. I do however have a small stain on my passenger side B pillar that I would like to remove.

I don't suggest using home cleaners on these cars, the dash and door panels are total junk and you might do more damage !!!

Thanx guys!

The stains are from my hand being dirty touching things while working on the car. Is it safe to use household carpet cleaner on the fabric on the interior trim?

I use Meguiar interior detailer to clean and then apply 303 Aaero Space protectant to protect the interior from sun and prevent dye transfers from clothes. 303 can be applied to all finished coated leathers (our IS leather is coated).

Blaze, 303 shouldn't be used to clean, it should be applied on after the surface is clean to protect.
