Default Starting Problem

Hi guys,

Its been a bad winter in canada and my IS250 2006 model is giving me lots of starting problem. For instance i will try to start it sometimes it wont start as it very cold then the second push would start the car. Sometimes it would start at all like all the lights will turn on and green light would come on the start/stop button and when i push engine will try to start but would start the car for some reason. i have checked the terminals of the car, tried booster but nothing works. hopefully i can get a idea like what is involved what should i check atleast to get it working so that i dont have to pay for towing.

Thanks

Have your battery checked?

Had the same exact problem here in Eastern Washington in my 06 IS250, if it dropped to 32 degrees F or lower or if the car has been sitting more than 2 days it would struggle turning over during the winter. Once the weather warmed up, I haven't experience an issue until it was freezing again, but by then I went ahead and purchase a new battery and turns over like champ even after sitting for several days.
