I'm new here, I've been stalking the forum for a couple of months now but finally decided to make an account.
I tried to search throughout the threads for wheels and tires and finally gave up. Earlier today, I just decided to pull the trigger on the LFA replica wheels.

I know there are a couple of people on this forum that have bought the LFA replicas and from the picture they look great! I just had a couple of questions.

1. I have a red 07 lexus is250, how do you guys feel about the hyper black vs the matte black or the gunmetal on a red lexus.

2. I need new tires since I'm getting new wheels, any recommendation for economical tires. Currently have the Hankook Ventus V12 but I need something that last longer.

I've got this setup and have no complaints only compliments. I got all four tires off tirerack for less than $500.

Mayrun 225/35ZR19 88Y
Mayrun 255/35ZR19 96Y

 

Go with gloss, easier to clean.

 

How much did you pay for the rims?

But I like the hyper black with your red lex.

 

I'm interested on knowing this as well... But I would be interested in knowing the biggest tires that can fit without rubbing. I'm on stock sport suspension.

I know some members have been able to put 235/35/19 in the front without rubbing. I'm wondering if anyone is running 265/35/19 in the back?

 

Btw- I would go hyper black if I were you.

 

How are the wheels now? Any problems?
