It could be the temperature, but one thing was clear in the video, a lot of squealing tires in turns. Fuji has very long sweeping turns. I believe LFA was losing time in those long sustained turns as the tires started giving out.
Tires have always been the limiting factor for the LFA since ultimate traction was not the goal of LFA. Gazoo LFA with 60 horsepower less and limited to 7500 rpm (rather than 9500 rpm) with racing slick tires and similar weight, did it in 1:47. On the long straight, Gazoo LFA reached 252 km/h compared to ~ 266 km/h for the standard LFA.
