Wheel liner Mod
Hello guys
Im thinking about taking out my liner and fabricate something to protect the Foglight wires. I will also do a DIY once i figure out what to do. now before I jump into the weekend project i wanted to know if anyone has tryed doing this, if so please share if not please give me ideas and input.
this mod will most likely help all you guys other there trying to lower your car but need more room to do so.

The liners aren't the problem. When you go lower it hits the bumper tabs. There is a small section on the liner that just needs to be heated and pressed out of the way. Other then that they are fine to keep
That depends on how aggressive your offset and low you are. I cut about 2 inch from the fender from the bumper tab to a half moon. Been three years and no issues with my fog light threw rain or snow.
I'm running with no front liners currently and with aftermarket HIDs in the fog housings, I'm getting mositure in both. I'd be curious to see what you've got planned with this thing!
Connects the front bumper to the front left fender, ton's of thread on it and how to remove and replace. As far as this thread goes, I just trimmed the top of the fender liner out, left the little bit in front of the fogs and had no problems, but would be interested to see what you come up with.

well i have been looking around and i think i will try the flexible alumium sheet and shape them to only cover the foglight housing as that my main focus. i seen alot of people post that they are getting moisture inside the fog housing. i want to fabricate something to prevent it. i will start tomorrow and will post a DIY on what i do
I would think some kind of building materials, like roof patch or something similar to that might works, as long as flexible enough and has waterproof. I haven't look at the front wheelwell of the car yet, when I get to do so this weekend, I'll probably have more ideas to share with you.
That sounds good man...I will most likely be online this weekend as i do the mod. just let me know
