It's the black weatherstrip I think over the chrome trim around the windows. Thought about removing all of it anyway. It looks and feels like electric tape. Anybody else have this happen to their window strips?

It's a very common issue with the 2IS. I had that issue and ended up replacing the trim like everyone else. I've read some members peel it off from all the rest and just blacked out the whole trim.

One of these days mine is just about to fly off by itself it seems. I'll probably end up pulling it off and hitting it with some paint or plastidip.

Haha, if my windows are down and I look out my side mirror I can see it flapping in the wind. I think I will pull them off and paint the chrome black for now.
