You live in the US, where for a much cheaper price and better option, the IS350 is available.
It makes no sense reliability/resale/cost/common sense to FI a 250.
Arma and the other SC companies are in countries where there is no IS350 option.

Your thread is specifically asking about ARMA S/C feedback - and I realize I have no input on that, so forgive me.
Completely understand. But Lexus built their platforms around demand, and 98+% purchased their automatics. Love it or hate it, it's reality.
Hacking your 250 is your call, it's just not well supported because it doesn't make sense.
Going FI isn't just a few simple bolt ons, and then no worries. It's work. To most, the work isn't worth it in the 250 just for a manual trans. If one was so enthusiastic, the 335I/6 MT G/M3/S4/STI/Ect/Ect all make more sense.
Most of us purchase Lexus for reliability and comfort. Going FI loses all of reliability.
Just doesnt add up for a 250. Good luck on your research, but perhaps a better look at your initial vehicle purchase would have been a better option.

While I won't argue supercharging isn't a "reasonable option" for most, you're dead wrong when you say going FI loses all reliability. Boosting my is250 has been nothing but reliable.

To OP, I haven't heard of anyone on the forums actually purchasing their kit, unfortunately. And for the price they sell it for (is it still $8k?), you can build your own kit. As long as you know where your car will stand (horsepower wise) after boosting and know that an is350 is an option as well, then do whatever you'd like

Any Lexus warranty would be voided (drive terrain). Introducing FI to any engine will decrease the life of it.
Sure, right now everything is fine, and probably in 2 years it will be as well.
But you'll be doing a top end rebuild quicker than the guy that's N/A.
I've been running the same 3.4 V6 toyota engine platform for 14 years.
One of them supercharged for 180K miles.

They quoted me for $5900. I told them I would give them 4k, they said they would think about it if it was a group buy.

It does not make sense cost wise, reliability wise.

IS250 + this < IS 350.

For the additional 5k-8k dollars, you could have sold the IS250 and use that money to get a IS350 which produces 100 more HP, way more than this kit.

If you want manual, tuning and does not care much about reliability, you should have bought the 335i, M3, Sti, Evo etc , not the IS250 lol.

My question is... Why do people not know how to answer the question? 1st he's asking if anyone has heard of arma, simple yes or no question. 2nd he is talking about a 250 not a 350 because 10/10 he has a 250. No upgrade is "worth" it on these cars neither make any real power with bolt-ones from what I've been reading. People always say 350 cause it's a bigger engine and thus has more hp that's all. The real question is when will Toyota/lexus/scion/Subaru who ever bring new engines and new life to this platform. Fr-s/Br-z from same family of companies makes a more fun and tuner friendly vehicle. Other competitors have brought in new engines for their luxury cars why not lexus?

It answered his question. Plain and simple. OP might be asking because this is something they are considering. $4k+ is a lot of money no matter how you slice it new SC or to trade for a 350.

Yeah, as you observe, the underlying question is not a yes/no, it is rather "worth" it or not. Some have addressed that clearly it is not worth it with clarifications.
