Default PSS not that comfortable

Michelin PSS are not that quiet and comfortable in my experience. They are great handling however. I have run them for about a summer and a half. They are okay are on small to medium size bumps but larger ones send jolts through the suspension.

As I get older and we have a baby son now I find myself wanting more comfortable tires... Thinking about either the Continental DW or DWS as my next tires as from my research they are supposed to have the best road manners out there.

I would love to hear some feedback from continental DW owners on the ride quality.

I am on factory sport suspension so that is the basis of my feedback.

i tried the Continential DW. they are very nice NEW. after awhile, you start to hear a lot of noise. they do ride comfortable and are pretty grippy though. i have -3 camber so that might be making the noise more unbearable. if you are on factory suspension then it might be different as the tires will wear more evenly.

Thanks for the review.

So seems like the DW may be worth a try on stock suspension of if I don't mind changing often. Thinking the DWS may be the better bet then... The only thing that concerns me is the amount of people saying they have sidewall bulging.

I have the Continental DSW and I can't wait to get rid of them. After 40k they're noisy, and I've had some major issues with traction in the snow this year. One of my buddies ended up sending a set back because he had some major vibration issues even after getting a road force balance. I think they used to be good, but at this point I will never pick up another set I'm currently riding on a tire with a wart so I'm going to take this opportunity to buy a new set of tires.

I am ordering some michelin pilot super sports today from tire rack, i got 17 inch wheels so came out to a little over $700 shipped. That's what people have been recommending so that's what I decided. I'll let you know how they are...

We had older Continental Extremes (pre-DSW) on a Solara and really liked the smooth ride and
very good snow traction. TR reviews did warn of short life and that was accurate, they lasted about
35k miles. Also quite sensitive to tire rotations, you knew it was time when they got noisy.
