Hi all, Would you guys avoid buying a used lexus is350 2008 from New York? Im getting really really close to pulling the trigger and found a perfect one that i really like in New York. The reason I ask this question is because since its a one owner and it looks like its been in new york the whole time maybe theres a lot mre wear on the car than usual since it could of been in a lot of stop and go traffic? is this reasonable to assume? Guys can you please take a look at the link and the carfax and see if theres anything that I should worry about because this is something i would pull the trigger on. I asked them to consider $19000 OUT THE DOOR PRICE inlcuding taxes and fees and would you do it if they accept? THANKS

Does a Carfax or some other data lead you to believe it's been mainly used in NYC? I ask because, while it is indeed in New York state, it is in Rochester, far from NYC.

No, theres nothing that led me to beleive that except that i asked a friend who used to live in New york and he said rochester was pretty close to nyc LOL my stupid mistake for not looking at a map...looks like a good deal to me, i mean has navi, has cooled/heated seats, has memory seats, even has the back sun shade...

I believe you said your from Chicago. Have you looked locally? Did a quick search and found almost the identical car, 2007 35K miles asking 19500 25miles outside Chicago. I personally wouldnt try to negotiate over the phone/chat for a car I havent seen or driven (unless brand new).

Yea i seen that one, thing is, it has no navi, like 4 or 5 owners, the dealer has very poor reviews and feedback, and I don't think it has any package or feature like the other one, one in new York is year newer Yea it has a little bit more miles but it extremely clean, navi, lux package...
