Default Bent Wheel

Hey there,

I've had a rough week in my IS. Bumped a guard rail ($800 quote for that repair) and bent my wheel hitting a pothole on the interstate within two days.

My question is, where is the best place to find OEM wheels for this car? I have the 10-spoke liquid graphite wheels. Sewell wants $640 for one! I found them on eBay for $200-$300 but wanted to see if that's the best I can do.

Is it a good idea to try to have it straightened? It looks like the paint is cracked on the bend too so between the labor to straighten and paint the wheel, it may be cheaper just to buy one.

Thanks guys.

try some junk yards. oem wheels are not hard to come by. many members here sell them for cheap as well.

I'll keep searching the junkyards and threads. Nothing has come up yet.

Do you have an opinion on wheel repair? I'm scared I'll be paying for something that won't truly straighten my wheel...

Two different places in Atlanta Ga repair wheels at a flat rate of $155. I would assume that it would be about the same where you live.

That sounds reasonable, I'm going to get a quote tomorrow for repair. I still don't know whether I trust wheel repair or not...
