Default 2006 lexus is250 awd HIDS

Hi guys!! Im new to the lexus world so bare with me. I recently purchased a 2006 lexus is250 awd. I was reading some threads and it says that if i do not have memory seats, then i dont have HIDS. I decided to check for myself but i am still not 100% sure. I have attached some photos which i believe are the ballasts and wires for a hid conversion kit. Can somebody please tell me if they are or not? As i want to switch the light bulbs out. Thanks!!

Those are aftermarket HID ballast in OEM projectors! So NO you technically don't have OEM HID's. They are H11 bulbs instead of DS2 (or DS4?!?!) bulbs. Something like that

If you get the sylvania bulbs, you will have to remove your existing HID set up including the ballasts. The sylvania bulbs are halogen so they will not have as much output as your current set up. I don't recommend buying HID's from eBay because they are terrible quality. Why do you want to switch the bulbs out? Is a bulb out or is it because you don't like the color of them?

Cars with OEM HID's (D4S) have a brighter yellowish-white light output than non-HID (H11) cars which have a yellow output. Buying a whole HID kit will be the best option because it will have more light output than buying regular halogen bulbs. We have vendors on the forum like Xenondepot and HID Powerhouse that many members have bought from. If you want blueish, I would get a 6000k kit. Anything over 6000k will look too blue and you will lose light output the higher the kelvin. Install is easy and everything is on youtube

And while you're at it, you should install an HID kit in your fog lights too to show your brother who's boss with the brighter lights

I don't know where you heard that but that is nonsense. I don't have memory seats and I have stock HID headlights.

What year is your car? I read that for 2006 is250 models only, if i dont have memory seats, i dont have hids. On the insidd of my headlights at the bottom, it says h11 on them.

Ok thanks!! I looked on kbcarstuff.com and they have their own brand of h11 hid bulbs for 24.99. Everybody seems to give them great reviews. Should i buy from there?
