Hi all
Are there any known problems with the auto transmission? I just got a high mileage (130k miles) 06 IS250 and some time I want to do a bit of spirited driving, well as much as the car would allow. This results in high revving. But I am afraid at such a high mileage I might break or wear down the transmission ? Is it possibility, any known cases of broken transmission around?

You should have nothing to worry about. Mine has 141k miles and I do a lot of track events, canyon driving and on top of that... I'm running twin turbos now. You'll be fine

 

Nothing to worry about. If you take care of normal maintenance items you can beat on it as much as you please. Built to last, kind of like ford tough, without the ford. Lol
