Whats up guys just got a 06 is350 and haven a problem only when my had tank his a quarter tank it makes a loud clink clink vlink noise all the way threw rpms and even when I'm stopped at Idle you can hear it but when I put more gas in it up to half tank it won't do it at all until it hits quarter tank I'm lost idk What it is or what it could be can anybody help plz I'd really appreciate it thanks guys

First time hear it. Sound like fuel pump being bad. Have you ever ran out of gas?

 

No never IV had the car for a month now and IV had it to quarter tank 2 times now im leaving it there trying to figure it out it so loud and it sounds more like a bad rattle now the more I listen to it but it dont spit and sputter or anything when it does this

 

Ok guys its a real bad rattle y it only does it at quarter tank and lower idk maybe something is hitting gas tank but definitely a rattle

 

Very interesting, I've not heard about such a thing better honestly. Perhaps something having to do with the pump, sending unit, etc fell into the tank and clanks around when nearing empty? IDK bro, but GL!

 

Ha yea I'm pulling the pump tomorrow and checking is on a full tank so it's not making any noise running and sounding like a lexus should right now

 

could be having fuel pump failures...make sure u keep the tank and half tank at all times until you get to have it checked out professionally....fuel filter could be clogged also
