I was thinking 'Why are they buying summer tires in winter' then I remembered you cali people don't have to worry about that!

LOL Nope. It's 60 in Southern California. I drove with the windows down!

Last time I had summer tires on during winter, I almost spun out on the highway during a snow storm. . .

I would also go with the PSS over the PS2. Similar grip, much cheaper, and will last longer. Had the PSS as my last set of tires and they were great. Huge amounts for grip for a street tire and work well in the rain. Had about 8 track days on them and were good from beginning to end. Now we will see how my Nitto NT05s go. Saved a few bucks but they are noisy as hell.

Doing the intake, sways and coilovers first than putting on the rims and tires the next day or two later.
