Question LED brake lights

I have a 2006 lexus is250 and I have blacked out taillights, I was wondering if anyone has replaced their brake light bulbs with LED's? I really just want it so when I go on the brakes its lights up very bright and red. Also what would be the right blub I would need to get?
Not the best picutre but this is how dark they are when i dont have any lights and off the brake.

Also, has anyone installed LED licence plate lights? I heard it is such a hassle trying to replace the bulbs with even brighter LED's..

They are LED already. IMO get a lighter tint, or have them redone elsewhere. I had blacked out tails for a few months on a prior ride, and the shop who sprayed it was able to make sure that the side reflector as well as taillights were easily visible. Safety > looks
