My front bumper has been through hell and back. Bumper has been zip tied and most recently it ripped going over a speed bump.

What bumper would you get to replace an 08 bumper?

There is a few options. You can get the IS-F conversion from eBay, you can do the 2012 F-Sport conversion, but for me personally I would just replace it with the same exact one since those bumpers have a lot of lip options.

 

Sounds exactly like my bumper. My tabs completely broke off.

For the 2012 F-sport conversion, is there any other thing required to install it other than the bumper itself?

I just odered that Fsport conversion kit about an hour ago..add $220 for shipping, well, atleast to where i am! Trying to find a hood now!

Well you can just sell your old one afterwards for a couple hundred bucks.

I got a quote from my local body shop before and it cost $1k for painted and reconditioned 06-08 bumper.

 

Painting just a bumper isn't to expensive. I painted it before for $100.

 

Where at in Sac? I want to get a lip and spoiler painted.
