Default Door Lock Actuator. Help.....

So the door actuator fix was going great until a few Springs popped off and now I have no idea where they go. Can anybody help me with a picture? I'd rather not have to buy an actuator on eBay for $150
Thank you in advance for any help. It will be much appreciated.
Chad

One of the springs has my finger pointing to it and then the other one is still a little bit to the right from that yellow circle in the middle. It's the spring with the hook on it and a long arm.

Toyota/Lexus will not have a diagram of the internals...I just checked and it only shows the part as a whole, not opened up.

Your best option is to take another door lock actuator out and open it up to see how everything is attached. That is how I was taught to do drum brakes, only one side at a time so you can check how all the springs and clips are attached.

Thanks for the advice. I have to decide if I want to give that a go or not.

Every brand does...and it is not the plastic that fails, it is the electric actuator that fails over time

Default Spring location

Hi Chad, I'm in the middle of the same repair on my 2007 IS350. The actuator is similar to yours, but not exact. The "Y" ends of the 'finger' spring photo engages a pin underneath and on the large white plastic lever. It should be 20mm left of the lever's main shaft, about where there's a tiny hole in yours. The spring circle end snaps into a peg on the black housing.
Bruce.
