******* NEW SITUATION*******
New help needed! Actuator buzzing?

Disregard first paragraph!!!

So i replaced my RR door lock actuator back in the dead of winter. and it worked really well for about a month! but then it was "choosy" when it would unlock or lock (i thought it was due to the really cold temp, as my car is not garaged) and to lock or unlock i did it manually when it was acting up. about Febuary it did it again and when i went to un lock it there was a bit of resistance and release. and locked. door handle is still connected but the actuator doesnt respond. now my door is sealed shut ive seen a few threads saying that the cable with black threading sometimes breaks im wondering if thats what happened. so my question is: will a slim jim help? can i take my door off by the hinges or any other way??? just enough so i can get the door pannel off! im stuck and have no idea what to doooo

******* so randomly my actuator began working an only after I bought a new door and was about to tear mine apart... The actuator unlocks fine but now there is an EXTREMELY loud buzz when it locks and idk what that is nothing seems to be in the way of the actuator or anything. Has anyone else heard of this???

sounds like you will need to bust open the door panel. try removing the lower seat cushion.
