Looking to get sideskirts, specifically the Wald, and found some replicas on eBay from Duraflex. Has anyone bought any replica Wald sides? If so, how is the fitment and how close is it to the real Wald sides? Thanks!

 

i heard replica if poor fitment will rattle when you drive since gap between sideskirt and body is so big

 

If the sideskirts are made of polyurethane I would recommend to not buy just bc paint tends to chip easily and it warps overtime. I didn't have the wald reps, I had the JP reps though. I cant comment on the fitment but now that I have fiberglass sideskirts I can see paint holds up alot better than my poly urethane sideskirts ever did.

 

I have wald rep sides and TimChen also has the reps. They fit about a 8.5/10? I'm most likely going to get authentics later down the line, but my only concern is that the authentic ones themselves don't fit a perfect 10/10 (judging by seeing them in person/on CL)

 

I think you are reffering to our W-1 Side Skirts. Duraflex combines fiberglass, plastic, and flex resins to obtain its unique features. Because of these features, Duraflex aero parts obtain a much higher durability rate than the average fiberglass product.

I've noticed that myself too. Most of them all seem to have a gap under the doors and I bothers me. I'm afraid the replica ones will even be worse. But then again, my car is black so it's not going to be as noticeable as any other car color lol.
