Default navigation dead?

Seems like a lot of people have issues with the touch screen not working but is anyone's navigation system completely dead? My a/c doesn't work at all or anything. The clock doesn't work but the air bag and seatbelt indicator still works. It went out while I was bumping music installing my sound system. this is my second IS and I'm not new to this and I've installed the sounds system before correctly So I know I didn't jack anything up. Is there some type of fuse for the navigation I could check or am I SOL? Time for a fly audio unit? I've checked every single fuse under the hood and underneath both foot wells and they're all good. Any inputs would be awesome. I've been searching the forums and couldn't find any input but people installing fly audio. Mobile search sucks lol

2007 is250 rwd BTW.

Thanks I hope someone chimes in. I work with a guy who knows electrical and makes circuit boards and all this jazz and would like to see what could have caused the unit to go out and possible find a fix so I can share with other me members who are having the same problem. At the very least get my a/c or audio powered through a custom connection. Why toss out such a expensive unit when the problem could possibly be a simple fix.

I had the same problem recently. Dealer disconnected the battery, cleared codes, NAV started working again, haven't had another problem in months.

I've had the exact same issue with my NAV unit and the surrounding HVAC buttons this last couple of weeks. I read a post on here where someone had the same issue and replaced the battery and that fixed it.

Well, seeing I still was using the OE Panasonic battery from Nov '05, I thought it best to probably get a new one anyways before winter hits.

Acutally this morning I got the new battery in and the NAV unit as a whole starting functioning again as normal. Not sure if this will help you, but it's what I found what worked for me.

GL!

Thanks for replies. I disconnected the battery before and had no luck. After reading your posts I decided to give it another shot and left the battery unhooked for an hour. To my surprise everything's running again!! How odd! I wonder what could have caused this?? I didn't change my battery at all. Fuses are all good. Its a mystery

I've got the wiring diagrams thanks to a member and I'm still going to look into the issue further for an answer incase it does actually happen again.
