Heading into work all nice and easy...
Slow it down abit due to construction zone...
Then BAM out of nowhere you get rear ended....
Then the lady decides to run from you.....
You catch her stop her and tell her to pull over again
She says yes goes into the median and runs again....
Follow once again and she finally decides to pull over 3-4mi away from the accident site

Straight up sucks
jacked up rear bumper now

 

Ouch... sorry to hear and hope no physical pain from the accident.

As for the lady, hopefully the cop noted in the report that she attempted a hit & run and she gets dinged for it too. No mercy.

 

She shoulda got arrested atleast you chased her down, but she tried to run again ?! Like cmon lady stop being stupid and ignorant

 

I would have puncher her in the face.

 

With all these people going cray cray lately, I think a dash cam is in order.

Had something similar happen to me and my wife while driving my wife's car on the HWY. The headlight of the car in front of us came off and we ran over it. I luckily served and avoided running directly over it with the tires (not sure about those behind me). But immediately both vehicles pulled over. I told my wife if she starts to see anything fishy to honk while I was outside. One of the two persons gets out of the other car, didn't say a word. While I knew he was looking and ducked down underneath the car to see about any leaks or signs of damage...luck for us nothing major due the 4x4 status of her stock Mitsu Eclipse. While I was looking at the car, the other guy pops back into the car and they speed off! I get a honk, and the chase was on! Unknown to them my wife worked for the local Police dept, so she knew the number to dispatch and the whole nine. Immediately got ahold of a cop within a 5 mile area and proceeded to following at a GREAT distance. LONG story short, the morons got ticketed for multiple things...and our car was ultimately unhurt. But still, WTF people!?!?

 

^ Nice, wish I had the number for dispatch, but then again the cops in NYC are so busy always.

This past year alone, i was the victim of 3 hit and runs. 1 severe enough to ding 3 panels, broken tails, one where someone rear ended the tow hitch (car was ok, just minor scratches), and another where someone just swiped. No more decency of people stopping or leaving notes.

 

so wack hopefully it all gets fixed with no hassle ..

Man.... people are going crazy lately! My IS250 received a light rearend hit by a girl in 2008 Jetta early morning Thursday (yesterday) while I was driving to work! She was distracted sending a text! Now I have to paint and readjust the rear bumper! Good luck with the repairs bro!
