@ first, my VIN # didn't fall into the range that was posted in here, but I got a letter from Lexus stating that my vehicle was indeed affected. Called the dealership and made an appointment to get the recall done. Dropped off the car on Monday and got it back today. To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference, since I've never noticed the rattle before. On the plus side, got a free tank of gas and a free car wash.

Took my is350 in on Monday around 10am and they told me that I was the first one (nearly nobody has a 350 where I live) and then they called me today (Wednesday) and told me that they need it til Friday. Praying they didn't mess my 350 up.

Took my IS350 in for an oil change and they scheduled me for January to get the recall done. They said they are slammed right now and that was the earliest they could get to me. I haven't noticed any issues so I'm not worried.

the recall only takes a day to do, i got a tech at my work that can get it done in about 4 hours. there is no reason they should need it for a few days, unless there shop is off the wall busy, or they dont have parts in stock for it.

Recall appointment set for middle of December. Supposedly the dealerships are only allowed to do 4 a day from what they told me...

Just took the car in for the recall. I received a 14 ES350 hybrid, very nice car but a bit slow. I am having them do the sparkplugs as well for $90 bucks no charge on labor. I am eager to drive it after the recall has been done and will let everyone know if I notice any difference in driving charecteristics.

I asked the appointment desk receptionist what they have for loaners and she answered "lexus" if they don't know what models they have for loaners, I wonder what kind of workmanship they have in the shop

I got my recall done a couple days ago. The dealer had the car for 2 days and did an oil change and tires.

I think my car seems to vibrate more at idle -- not sure if it's just in my head. Anyone feel any different? Otherwise, I don't notice much difference.

I got a regular 2014 ES350. Power is pretty good. I'm surprised at how much the handling seems to have improved compare to 2013 -- a lot less floaty feeling but still very smooth ride.

Will Lexus be sending out gift cards like they did for the valve spring recall?
