Can someone tell me why I keep ordering the carbon fiber emblem inserts from various companies and ebay sellers, yet I keep getting the wrong ones? It appears they are shipping the smaller IS200 emblems maybe from the older models? Everyone keeps arguing with me and frankly I'm sick of eating return postage to send them back.

I've got a 2006 250 with stock emblems. The trunk and grill emblems appear to be the same size though I haven't exactly measured them.

Am I missing something here? Is it an overseas model vs. US model issue or something?

Anyone know where I can get the correct inserts? Preferably the first time I order? LOL

Trunk and grille emblems are not the same size. I think the grille emblem is slightly bigger if I remember correctly.

Yes both of the guys above me are correct, the trunk is a smaller emblem.. I ran into this problem with a body shop who took em off and jammed the grill one onto my trunk spoiler >:-| . Idiots.

 

WHAT THE?! That's the first kit I ordered and the bigger one fit in my trunk emblem and the little one was too small for the grill. So in my case, someone replaced the trunk emblem with a hood emblem - and I've got two hood emblems. I'll just order the kit again and get another large insert.

Now I'm worried about the carbon fiber thin OEM style spoiler I ordered not having a big enough concave to clear the emblem on the trunk. Do they just stick on with adhesive or do they have pins? I was thinking about painting the emblems on the trunk black anyway..
