2011 IS250 - Front Bumper Replacement
Hey guys,
So I ended up nudging someone in a drive-thru line today while trying to get my keys that fell in between the seat. *****, right? Anyway, it had to be a truck...
It left an imprint on my front bumper. I'm pretty **** about stuff like that so i'm considering swapping it out. My question for you guys is - do I need to get the entire f-sport front bumper kit frmo Sewell or just the front bumper w/ F-sport. I've looked at both bumpers and it looks like the only difference is the splitters. I'd rather just take mine apart and put back the fog lights, grill, etc..
Am I correct in assuming that's all I will need?
Thanks!

It's a 2011. It looks like the newer style bumper. Is the only difference between the regular and the F-sport the splitters on the left and right? To the naked eye it looks like that is the case.
I'm just saying there's a big difference between spending 1500 on the f-sport kit vs. 500 something for the f-sport bumper and then move everything back. Shipping is brutal, but hey....at least it's painted, right?

Yeah, but even if they fix it I will have to get it repainted, and that will cost at least a few hundred. If I can get a new bumper (painted) and then sell the old one, it might be a decent option. The imprint isn't really that bad...it's basically a square where the trailer hitch hit.
OP, your posts are a little confusing so im going to confirm some things:
1. your car is a 2011
2. the damage is only on the bumper and you want to replace the bumper only, not the f-sport splitters attach to it
The 2011 F-sport bumper kit is made up of the regular 2011 bumper + f-sport splitters + grill. There is no such thing as a f-sport bumper alone.
Base upon these assumptions, all you would need to do is buy the regular 2011 bumper. You can then transfer all your existing parts over to this new bumper (grill, fog lights, f-sport splitters)

I just check sewell and your right. However i believe sewell lists two different bumpers because their "f-sport bumper" has the holes pre-cut out to install the f-sport splitters while the regular bumper do not have the pre-cut out holes to install the splitters.
It should be the same bumper (which probably explains why the price is the same), but one will have holes in it to fit the splitters.
Does your existing 2011 bumper have splitters you can transfer over?
