Default Door pocket pockets? And other JDMness

So being down in a different part of the world with a JDM IS350 I'm still trying to figure out a lot of what it has and can do - mainly due to everything being in Japanese.

Anyway, I've been trying to find out some more info on the small magnetic bag type pockets I have in both front doors, they're almost like a purse that sits in the fold out door sleeves.

Are these common? What would anyone actually use them for? Am I making sense right now or are pictures needed?

EDIT: Pictures are now added. Will also add some more posts with some of the other bits and pieces you guys might not see over in the states. A large chunk of the imports we have here are from Japan so it's not so uncommon down here.

Yeah, pics would help because those things sound like nothing like what we have here in the states.

ML JDM headunit, not sure what it all does but includes:
MiniDisk, DVD, CD, TV, GPS (only works in Japan), HDD, Aux, Reversing Camera., settings for ETC (toll road card). Can't figure out how to sync phone but think bluetooth is in there somewhere

If anyone wants to translate for me then please let me know.

Sounds and looks like its the "JDM" trash can. It's like a little bag to separate the trash from the pocket, because water bottles fit in there and you don't want your new snot rag to touch your beverage of choice. I thought it would be nice to have until I saw the 300 USD price tag. Ridiculous. But then again I bought JDM visors so what do I know LOL

Not as elegant, but this is my USDM trash stash. It compacts when not in use so you can hide it. Cost-effective, but recently, is very hard to find one where I live.

Nice fog lights though.

So it's a fancy rubbish bin, they seem way to fancy to put my trash in. I guess its a reflection on the previous owner and how tidy he kept it. They are a little small for empty beer bottles, perhaps its a better size for stashing weed and blow?

Thanks, I'm pretty stoked with it. Had it selected and imported so I didn't really know the details of what I was getting other than it being a very tidy silver IS350 Version S with a kit.

Glad it's got a few nice features that are a little out of the ordinary. Also has a sunroof, memory seats and the usual nice bits and pieces that come with owning one of these. Not had it long but here's a couple of the exterior, nothing too exciting/out of the ordinary.

It's interesting to note locally we've got a huge modified import scene but the 2IS has been relatively left untouched, maybe it's just a matter of time...
