I like your GUI theme very much. I have a question about the version of D2280 you are using. Yours shows an "Internet" icon where mine has "Othello" which is a useless game. Did you add that option, or did it come with that? The radio I purchased was supposed to have internet browsing capabilities according to the ad on Alibaba, but when it arrived, it did not have that, although the documentation in the box shows it does.

Would you mind posting your D2280 folder or PM me where I can get that version. I am very interested in playing around with it to see if I can get the browsing to work. I purchased a compatible USB modem. I just need to figure out how to make it work.

 

I have the Roadrover system and im trying to change my skin and boot logo but dont see the d2280 folder in the SD card?

 

the d2280 folder is located inside the "static store" folder, which is part of the internal memory of unit, not the sd card.

Ok so if I want to change the boot logo all I do is download that pic rename it to logo.bmp and throw anywhere on the SD card? then plug it and voila? or do I gotta open the SD card on the unit and move it to internal memory?

 

logo.bmp into root of sd card. If successful you will get a logo replacement message.

You cant just rename it .bmp. You have to open it up in paint and "save as" a BMP file.

You just need to replace the .exe file for the game for another game that you want that's written for Windows CE. I don't think there is much out there.

 

where would I find the original game to delete it? In the D2280 folder or STATICSTORE? I dont wanna f the whole unit up

 

d2280 folder inside statistore..

for your safety copy over the d2280 folder to a "backup" folder on your sd card.
Now instead of deleting something simply rename it. For example game.exe -> game.exe.BAK
If something goes wrong, delete the one you copied over and remove "BAK" from the original backed up file
