Does anyone have an issue trying to start there car multiple times? If the car is hot or just in between stops I will press the starter button the motor will start half way then shut off. The car will eventually start but takes about 2 or three times. I just replaced the battery and had my short block replaced from the warranty recall. This issue has occurred after the replacement but cant figure out if it's related.

 

Oh boy, that's a difficult one to pinpoint as your entire engine has been replaced. Perhaps its as simple as a grounding wire left unconnected.

How long ago since the dealership performed the engine replacement? I would go back to them to replicate the issue and hopefully they'll acknowledge it as being from their engine replacing and not charge you anything.
