12 IS250 Evaporator Drain?
I searched the forum and I have not yet found a clear enough answer. I bought the Toyota AC Refresher Kit and I have been trying to find the drain. I took it to a mechanic and he had no idea where it could me. I do not want to drive to the dealership for such a small thing. This mildew smell is killing me!
BTW, I already tried the lysol trick, new cabin filter and blasting the heat for 15 mins +. The smell keeps coming back

Hi, just did mine, and it's not hard at all..... Find yourself a hook just like the one in the picture and find the rubber grommet right above the widest part of the transmission, hook it and pull out gently and all your water problems should be solved.

Make sure to dry your carpets well before any mold starts to grow.
Good luck !

Yes, it's the same procedure, just find the groomer right above the widest part of the transmission: You will feel it with your bare hands, then hook it with the tool ( Home Depot or lowe's) and just gently pull it out.

I don't have anything to get my car up in the air enough to climb under it. However, I was able to use an inspection mirror to locate the grommet using your description of where it is located. Then I used one of the most versatile tools ever made, a coat hanger, to make a long hook. I was able to aim it into the grommet and break the seal. I could not believe how much water was in the AC. Unfortunately, I could not pull the grommet out from above. Although, I believe that I did widen the slit in the grommet.
There is a garage not far from me that I hope will put the car on the lift an pull the grommet out. They generally do good work for a low per hour price. I can only imagine what the dealer would charge to do that.
Thanks again,
Brett
