Default LED headlights and spoiler for 2012 IS250

Hi all! I have a 2012 IS250 and was planning to do some mods, namely getting the LED headlights and a small spoiler for the rear. I've been doing some research online and found the following parts:

Headlights
http://www.ebay.com/bhp/lexus-is-250-led-headlights

Spoiler
http://www.ebay.com/itm/FAST-SHIP-PA...-/370882573665

I do have two main concerns with these products:
1. The headlights seem to be quite expensive (1900 +). I also found some LED strips on ebay, but they look a bit cheap in my opinion. Does anyone know of any other options, perhaps something more in the middle?

2. The spoilers seem to be "glued" onto the trunk, and I'm wondering if this is necessarily a good idea. Would you suggest any other products out there?

Another thing is that I currently live in an apartment, without much space to work on things or access to tools, so I would probably need to take it to a shop for modifications. Would anyone know of some good shops around the San Francisco bay area for mods?

Thanks a bunch!!

1) No to LED strips

Either get the updated headlights or stick with your current ones. Add on LEDs are very tacky.

2) Are asking if the spoiler will need to be glued on? Or that your current car has a spoiler and you have concerns about removing it to replace it?

Welcome to Club Lexus. Stay with the headlights you have till you can afford the factory led headlights. There's Impact Performance in SF. He's a CL member and he's a nice guy. He's close to Bayshore Ave.

I just did some of the same upgrades you are considering..

1- just get the OEM headlights!!
2- Most rear spoilers are 2x Taped and bolted in.

Check out my build thread:

Thanks for your reply. Regarding #2, I was asking whether its secure enough for the spoilers to just be glued onto the trunk by 3M and adhesives. I think I've seen other spoilers that need to be bolted onto the trunk and was wondering if the bolted ones may be a better idea than the glued ones?

hey man i just read your build thread and HOLY ***** that is one hell of a build and beautiful car! regarding the spoiler, i see that you got the wald ones, and i heard the fitment is sometimes an issue on those if you dont plan to mold it. did you observe similar problems?

i think a lot of us started out considering the add on LED strips (or at least I did) because the factory lights are soo expensive. but at the end of the day factory lights just look so much better esp with the housing. it's worth the investment. i'll be getting a set in the future for sure

No need to screw on the spoiler. 3m double sided tape will be more than enough to hold the trunk spoiler in place.

Wald spoilers are usually hit or miss on fitment. Even authentic wald trunk spoilers do not have perfect or exact fitment.
