Default Surprising Find :D

So while I was installing my coilovers over the weekend, I saw a very f sport colored blue bar covered with some dirt from driving. After getting under it, I saw the f sport logo and discovered my car came with a rear F sport sway bar ^___^ planned on buying it in the future but what a surprise to find it already on my car haha when I looked more carefully at it however, my driver side was not connected.

I seem to be missing the lug/washer that connects the sway bar to my suspension. I was wondering if anyone knew the part number or size of the washer I need to get so I can tighten it back on. It's just the washer itself I need. If it's specifically made by Lexus F Sport, I'd probably have to go to a dealership to get the replacement part. Just wanted to know the part name/number if possible before going in.

Also, sidenote lol does anyone know what the black plastic clips are called that hold down the black plastic covers around your engine bay. Popped one of them out and lost it doing the front suspensions and some of those clips are super loose after putting my covers back on.

Thanks a bunch in advance and I'll try to post up a pic of my new set up soon!

Congrats on the nice find. It's always great to get free stuff...especially when it's F-Sport.

Not sure about the washer on the F-Sport Sway Bar.. perhaps you can email/pm Sewell for the part.

As for the clips, that's exactly what they are called... push-in fastener clips.

You can check out Sewell for tons of info on parts. They also have the break down diagram if you want to dig deep.

Make sure to register with a Club Lexus Forum account for discounts. Each clip will cost you about 1.29 without the CL discount. You can also get a bag of 10.

Thanks so much! That's exactly what I was looking, thought they might have a more complicated name. And yeah, just checked on Sewell and they just call the part I'm looking for a bushing in the installation guide. Hopefully they just sell that individual part at the dealership.

The same thing happened to me on my sway bar, but in the rear.
I just went to the Lexus Dealership and asked them to special order me the nut. It was around 2.70 so it was pretty inexpensive.

You were essentially running without a rear swaybar?! And now you have coil overs. It's going to feel like it's on rails compared to before!

Yeah, the suspension is def not as smooth as before when I drive the high way but it's actually not noticeable when I drive local. I live in LA and drive quite a bit so I'm still adjusting but overall I'm really happy with the comfort I got from my Megan LPs (Think I'm on 17 for the stiffness setting). I'm sitting actually pretty low too (no front wheel gap and fender over the rear wheel). Gonna raise my height just a bit once I get my exhaust and everything on this weekend. Overall I only feel the roughness in my ride on the freeway going 80+. Everything is stable and pretty comfortable under that.
