what do you guys think about this? lowkey, i've always wanted a chrome wrapped car....i'm all about the progressive looks. and no it is not mine. some may think its tacky, but to me, tacky is all the normal colors out there you see on cars. green. black. white. red. ok cool. boring.

i think with the right wheels it can look extremely cool

Looks pretty hard to see. Imagine this thing at night when you're driving behind it. Just literally reflecting your focused HID beams right back into your eyes. Then in the daytime it would be like driving a giant fireball with the sun reflecting off of it in every direction

Doesn't look legal to me. Like driving a giant mirror around.

The "norm" is not tacky. Poor choice of word. Tacky itself means "showing poor taste and quality". If you want to say boring in some cases sure, but black, white, silver are also elegant colors.

Before I saw that pic, I was gonna say no way; BUT, on the 3IS there I gotta say it does have something going for it. Especially on the front end there. Perhaps it is all of the various angles and way it reflects everything. Not sure if I'd say the same with the 2IS though. Maybe a chrome blue or purple instead?

Ive seen blue and green chrome wrapped GTRs in person and its not my style

 

I've always thought of doing black chrome paint years back.. looks sick. Reminds me of that recently new movie where the girl gets controlled by another life form.
