Default Need Help! Getting a 2007 IS250!(first lexus car)

Hi, i haven't owned a Lexus before but hoping to get one soon. I've been searching around craigslist trying to see if i can get a good deal. I just have a couple questions how long do these cars usually last? When do they start breaking down? This is going to be my first car! Also should i avoid them if they have a rebuilt title? How much do they usually cost? Thanks for looking please help!

2007 Lexus IS250
Color: Black Sapphire.
Mileage 67800.

How much should i offer? They want $18,500.

They are very reliable cars without a doubt. How many miles does the one you are trying to buy have?

By rebuilt title I assume you mean previously totaled or involved in a natural disaster. I can only assume, with all of the natural disasters in recent years, there could be a lot of flooded cars out there.

My opinion is you should avoid any car with a rebuilt title. Unless it is to restore a antique or classic car. Far to many good cars to choose from out there that do not have a rebuilt titles. You need to find the right car for your budget and not cut corners to make a car fit your budget.

Just my opinion though.

What's the condition? Any body imperfections. What system does it have inside?

thats pretty decent miles for the year of the car. but i would shop around and compare prices that way you can get exactly what you want and not jump on the first thing you come across

good luck

I've been looking around and not finding any luck. Do you know how much they normally cost?

Go to Autotrader.com and see what they are selling for within your radius.
Also, Lexus's don't breakdown. They are not junk.
Just avoid wrecks and rebuilds.

I'm surprised no one has told you to look out for the carbon build up issue.

Go into Kelly Blue Book and enter as much info you know about the car as possible to help get you a price.

Looks like a base model? No Luxury package, no Navigation.. see if the CD player says Mark Levinson on it, if it does then it has the ML package.
