Default Install or not?

I recently picked this up for my is250. I'm not sure how to install it because it didn't come with any directions but if anyone knows anything about this or how to install that'd be great!

That looks like a universal exhaust with no pipe? You gonna either custom fit it or hack your stock.

If it's for an IS then it should be simple just bolt on, but if its the universal eBay mufflers then you will need to cut and weld.

Just by looking. I'm guessing a muffler shop will cut off your current mufflers and weld those new mufflers on. Looks cool, but not sure of what functional factor.

Those are universal exhausts. You'll need a muffler shop to weld up piping to it and weld it to your car.

Default Weld IT!!!

You can go to any weld shop and get it welded on to your exhaust for about $100 bucks or so.... I had that done to my Acura Integra ... I'd actually prefer doing that than going out and buying a $500 exhaust system if you're just going for the looks... honestly - I like name brand parts but if you're not looking for a performance upgrade then whoever is telling you to buy an expensive exhaust rather than weld that on is either an idiot or has nothing better to do with their money ... but again... it's up to you.. and unless you're putting a 2JZ motor in your IS250 it's going to be slow so why bother with a $500-$600 exhaust system...

If you don't want to bother with the welding you can sell it like others said and get a new one that fits specifically for the IS and you can just install it

Thats a very BAD BUY those are universal mufflers, you have to go to a muffler shop and have them cut off your stock exhaust and weld these mufflers to your stock pipe which i wouldn't recommend.

If you really wanna keep them do custom pipes with those mufflers instead of cutting your stock exhaust but once again that wasnt a smart buy.

something like this would have being much better if you were trying to be really cheap

^^^ I agree with juvi22003 custom pipes if you're going to keep them. Don't hack up your OEM one.

Now I feel stupid for this.. I'll just end up trying to sell this cuz I don't wanna go through all the trouble of welding. I didn't get this for any performance reasons, just for looks. But thanks everyone for the comments
