Default Nextlevelracing tri-phase performance module?

Has any one used one of these? Thinking about ordering one. It's supposed to be comparable to a jet performance module... Higher torque curves and dif shift points... Has anyone tried them ?

Higher torque curves and shift points? This looks suspiciously like one of those "performance" devices that connects a resistor inline with the intake ambient temperature sensor to make the ECU think it is colder outside than it really is. Not very effective in the first place, and will quickly have no effect as the ECU has logic to detect and compensate for sensor drift.

Are people really willing to pay $175 for a couple of resistors, two toggle switches, an LED and a Radio Shack project box?
