I just lowered my car and put brand new rims and tires on its lowered on eibach springs and the front rims are 19x8.5 front tire size is 235/35/19 not sure if this is just what happens when you lower the car and put lower profile tires on or not but now I'm feeling a lot more going on in my steering wheels it moves around as appossed to when it was stock no vibration or pulsating or moving of the steering wheel at all..... I haven't aligned it yet but doubt that has anything to do with it oh any it's a 2007 is350 if that makes a difference

 

heard a lot of people going through the same thing. im pretty sure its normal. certain coilovers do the same. from my experience bc coilovers have the least amount of vibrations. i could be wrong though

 

Thanx for your help its just the springs tho not coil overs I'm assuming its the same thing

 

If you're getting bad feedback in the steering wheel while driving on the new setup, there's something wrong.

Can you go into more details as to what exactly you are experiencing? I have to ask...PROPER lug nuts were used to affix the wheels to the car, correct?

 

Changing wheels, tires and springs should not give you a different feel at the steering wheel, for sure. Something is amiss. An alignment issue would be understandable, but nothing that you would feel in the steering wheel.

 

The steering wheel for lack of a better word hops around a Bit sometimes sometimes a piling feeling I have taken ur to a second rim shop to look at it they didn't say anything about the lug nuts they just re balanced them for me and I thought maybe needed hub rings but the second rim shop said the fit is so tight in the hub a ring wouldn't fit

 

Anyone know of a good wheel shop in Orange County California that I can take it to so they can look at my car ??

 

I did have to get thinner lug nuts to hit the wheels do Lexus take a special type of lug nut??

 

^I mentioned lug nuts because OEM lug nuts cannot be used with aftermarket wheels. But I believe you've got that covered.

By the way, the shop that sad there's no room for the hub centric rings...they are joke! Don't go back there! Find out the bore of your wheels and post it up on here. There might be a need for rings in your case to help with the feedback issue...maybe.

 

From what I could find online it's 73.1 the wheels are stance sc-6ix 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear

 

Put your stock wheels back on the front if you can and see if the symptoms go away. Lexus IS250/350 have a bore size of 60.1 If your Stance wheels have a bore size of 73.1 you definitely should have rings in there.

Finally found a good wheel shop hub rings and balancing them correctly unlike the other 2 shops problem solved lol thanx for all the help guys
