I was going through my service history the other day and noticed this...

31696 0441486 NON-OEM THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM INSTALL/R&R

Does this mean the alarm was replaced at 31,000 miles or something added (non oem?).

Might be an upgraded alarm. Possibly with remote start, window break sensor etc. I assume you're the 2nd owner of this vehicle?

 

Thanks for the reply, I'm the 3rd owner. The key fob is normal and I don't see anything else to indicate an upgrade but you may be right about the glass break sensors.
