I searched a bit but couldn't find the right answer. Im looking into getting an after market alarm system for my IS350. I know there is one member here that has an after market alarm system but my question is what is the process of installing one alongside with the Lexus keyless entry and push button start. What about the remote start function on the new system.

The alarm system that comes with the IS is crap for sure. After looking at that one thread about the member having his rims and brakes stolen makes me very cautious.

Also what do you guys think about the zenesis car alarm http://www.zenesisalarms.com/ Looks cool, has anyone tried it out?

Lexus should've offered and upgrade to their security system. It a nice feature knowing if ur car was hit when your inside somewhere.

they should. I called so many companies that do aftermarket alarms for dealers around the area, but all refused to install the sensors because they fear that it might mess with the cars key fob and starting the car.

Clifford system all the way man, has 2 way remotes, keyless entry, remote start, glass break, trunk open, tilt sensor, and anywhere from 1 to 1.5 mile range.
