I personally enjoy watching drifting and drift videos. I wouldn't mind learning to drift as well.

I think drifting is pretty cool. It would be nice to learn how to drift (wouldn't do in my IS, I'd get a track focused car like the FRS). A couple of my friends started drifting a while back and one hit the big time with a drift team (he's in Thailand I think with his team).

Cool on the track as long as no one gets hurt.
Stupid on the streets. Dangerous and reckless.

It's cool but it's not cool in a IS250. Why? Because way underpowered. If you want to drift take it to the track and get a powerful car (IS350).

If you know what you are doing and it's in a safe place, go for it. Just be careful. So many people have misjudged, lost it, hit curbs and other solid things and well....not fun.

I think its awesome to watch, but if you are doing the drifiting...make sure you have some coin to replace those tires.

I find drifting entertaining when done by a professional driver in a professionally setup vehicle...can be very easy to destroy something if attempted by a novice driver in an unequiped vehicle...check out the drifting section below

Well I guess I'm the first one to say IMHO it's completely stupid. A BIG from me. And, I am a big NASCAR fan who does not enjoy the burnouts at the end of races

Those videos made me cringe.

That second video looks like the kid slammed on the break when he started to loose control instead of just letting off the gas, I've done that before except when I did it there wasn't a fence in the way, just a small downward slope. All I messed up was a tire that was under warranty anyways.

I love drifting! Im not gonna drift my IS but I used to drift my ap1 and that was fun. Or for those of you who are local in CALI you can go go-kart drifting at Speedzone!

There is a guy here from Russia who drifts his 2IS. Check out his videos its very nice.

I personally like watching the professional drifting. Just like any racing out there it takes alot of skill to perform it! Just imagine someone loosing control of your car but actually correcting it and making it faster around the bends? Thats what drifting is except its throughout the whole course. Its not the action of drifting but the skill it takes to do it, thats amazing... F1 drivers especially those guys are equally amazing.
