Default Paint shops able to match SGM?

Well, Sewell apparently has the SGM rear F Sport rear deck spoiler discontinued in this color

I guess my next option is to buy an ABS plastic one from Ebay. Anyone have good luck finding paint shops that can match SGM perfectly? I'm not asking for specific places necessarily but how they came out from your local shops.

OR, I may just try my luck hitting the classifieds here

SGM is an easy color to match I don't think any shop should have issues, but to make sure just go to a shop and ask it can't be that hard.

No issues with color matching for SGM 1G0. Pretty simple compared to others.

Just have your body shop take a look at your car or give them the gas cap cover to match for any painting related issues.

OP, you can try the classifieds, they usually pop up once in awhile. Good luck.

I have had my hood, roof and trunk painted and my paint shop did a fabulous job. The key is to blend in the paint!! Take it to a well established paint shop. You will pay more but the quality is much better. You drive a Lexus so treat it right.

Thanks guys for the input. I listed down quite a few reputable and long standing paint shops and the first one i went to gave me a disclaimer of it might not match perfectly.. Which had me puzzled a bit. But I found another local place that has done work on a lot of high end cars and said he could do it no problem.

Well, I never said I was going to an Earl Scheib or Maaco.

I second that the SGM color is an easy color to match. Got my roof spoiler painted and its spot on
