Ok so I need tires all 4. What's a good tire brand. I was looking at hankook Ventus v12evo. I have nittos on there now which they suck. I'm not trying to spend 1,200 for tires but not looking to go cheap at the sametime. What's out there.

 

Hankook V12s are the best bang for your buck IMO

 

I've heard good things about the V12s for daily use. What do you plan to use the tires for? What's your driving style like? And what didn't you like about the Nittos?

 

I plan on getting tires this week sometime. I live in fl. And driving style would be Moderately aggressive.

 

As for the nittos I did not like them in the rain and did not grip good in turns. And seem to go though them fast got them like sept of last year.

 

I have nitto and then give me very good grid, What nitto do you have? I have Nitto Invo

 

+1 invo had them and they were great in rain. Remember when running summer tires they only last 25k if that. So it doesn't a matters months it matter miles on tires.

 

Get the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires and they're on sale at tirerack.com for $674 for oem 18' size.
Supposely they're the second best max performance summer tires you could get behind the PSS.

 

I had Michelin PS A/S plus before and now in transition to Hankook V12 ($700). V12 is probably the best choice for anything < $1000. Others will all cost you around $1100-$1300.

I have considered:

1. Michelin PS A/S -> $1100 at Costco
2. Michelin PS2 -> $1200 at Costco
3. Bridgestone Potenza RE11 -> >$1500
4. Michelin PSS -> >$1500.

 

I just bought these for my 350 last week. They're nice and grippy and $300 cheaper than the Michelin pilot super sports. I'm lowered and have sway bars, these tires are the finishing touch for my ride. I can take clover leaf on/off ramps like a beast now lol (if no one else is around.. so I don't hit anyone if something goes wrong)

Only negative to these tires is that they are fairly noisy compared to the OEM tires, cant really compare to anything else cause ive only had oem and these (car only has 32k miles)

 

If you want all season tires, I've been extremely pleased with the Kumho Ecsa 4X. Not good in snow but I notice you live in Florida, so perhaps not a problem.

Very reasonable also.

 

I have them, and will purchase again...BFG KDW IIs. Definitely within your budget.

 

I've never been a fan of mis-matched tires on a car but am seriously considering going with the Hankook V12s on the rear of my IS350. I've run Hankooks before and really liked them. I have the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S on the fronts and like them too. I can get the Hankooks for the rear for about $360 shipped, where as the Michelins would cost me a little over $500.

 

I'm using the V12's and love them. You won't be disappointed with them.

 

how are they in terms of handling and noise? I thought about these, but went with the bridgestone s-04 instead
