Ah ok, yeah I will certainly take my time with the mods and make sure I get good deals. Thankfully I didnt have my rims on so those are still good to go. Ill be grabbing my LX mode grill for sure along with whatever else I can grab. BBK is easily last on my list of mods, the rims I have wouldnt even show them off that well.
I'm attending the University of Cincinnati but I alternate semesters for full time coops so I end up all over the place.
Good luck hopefully u stay in the 2IS family. Hit me up if ure in the columbus area. There's very few CL guys here
Damn that is crazy! Never seen an imprint of a rim on a bumper like that!
Glad everyone is alright tho. Hopefully you have better luck with the replacement!
Lol that would be the rim of the 2013 BMW 750i that she hit. Left a pretty clear imprint.
Wow glad to hear everyone was okay. Can't believe the rim left such a clear impact on the bumper, never seen anything like that.
I too would stay with an IS and get whatever year 350 I could afford/find. The extra power and lack of carbon issues, plus I still love the looks of the 2IS.
sorry to see Joe, glad your lil' woman is ok. just start looking around to see what's out there. The european cars....there's many threads out there but I didn't get any of the 3 because of maintenance, insurance, and gas mileage (Audi A4). Good luck with whatever you decide.
well my car was paid off, it was still valued at 21k and since I did not have protection against uninsured motorists I had a $500 deductable. They are still pursuing the guy but still paid me in full. As for my mods they do not calculate that in, it is aftermarket parts after all. Your insurance might or might not cover it. I'm with Geico. I salvaged some of the parts that I wanted but I just left the kit and the trunk spoiler since it was damaged anyways and I was already planning on going in a different direction. I bought the 2010 a week after my 2007 was totaled, went back and swapped out my wheels, and headlights. took the parts I wanted and they were cool with it. Heres the thread of what happened. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-my-is250.html
You will definitely get KBB value for the car. Just shop around and try to find a good deal, maybe you can put zero down and still have alot more extra cash for mods. Everything that you have planned I see on sale in the Classifieds section all the time. Plus we have alot of good vendors here always running specials. The most expensive thing on your mods list is the BBKs. Btw just noticed you're in Ohio. I'm in Dublin. Where are you located if you dont mind me asking?
sorry to hear your insurance did not cover the aftermarket mods. i was always under the impression they would, since they are responsible to repair it to way it was before.
my friend's friend's rep wald rear was rear ended, and i think they replaced him with an authentic one...
sorry about your car man. On the brighter side everyone is okay! will they let you pull some parts off the car and/or switch some things out back to stock? Nothing like reselling some parts or installing on your next 2IS purchase if you decide to go that route!
