Default What settings erase when replacing the battery

I need to get a new battery. It just failed the load test. I am wondering what settings get reset or erased.

Specifically will it erase my Navigation settings? Will I lose all of my custom maintenance settings like when to replace the cabin air filter, brake fluid, ect.

I figure it will erase the saved radio presets and seating presets, but that is no big deal.

Let me know what you guys know.

Thanks!

I dont have the list off-hand but I know for a fact you will loose the Maintenance Settings and saved Radio Presets.

I would assume the Memory Seats will go as well.

Also, I dont know too much about this, but I know some do this (battery pull) to reset the cars learned driving characteristics. You may want to research that a bit.

You'll also lose the Average MPG (it will reset).
I can't remember if the tank MPG resets as well.
And from what i've seen, all your custom audio settings will be reset. (i.e. bass will reset back to 0)

I can confirm that you will not loose the radio settings if you nav is an HDD version. I just had my battery disconected over the weekend and once the system bottoed up it rememered my radio presets, phone book, and bluetooth phone and audio player. The only reprograming I had to do was the windows,

Yes everything gets reset. Especially your ECU so I suggest , get an intake and or new filter then drive slow for the next 500 miles to re calibrate your air fuel ratio.

I believe only the HDD navi's saves the info. all others do not save anything.
