Just curious does anyone know how to take the wiper arm off? I need to make an adjustment to the wiper arm position since with the recall of the wiper was performed, they didn't seem to put them back into their original positions even thou the dealership insists they are in spec however, looking at them visually it looks wrong after doing a few test wipes.

I notice there is a black cap that is covering the nut below but not sure how to take it off.

Also does anyone know what kind of hex nut it is in terms of SAE or Metric size?

The black cap should pop off with a small pocket screwdriver.

That's what I'm thinking too but I didn't see any tool marks where the cap popped off. I suspect they maybe using a special tool to easily pop it off without marking it.

I wonder there is a certain spot they are using the tool at.
