Default Multiple issues with IS350, need help

Hi Everyone,

The other day I replaced my frozen navi screen with a new navi screen after attempting to fix the old one. After successfully fixing, there were multiple problems that came up.

First the car battery died (7 years old), then after jumping it, the VSC light came on, along with the traction light, now my keyless entry won't work nor will the clock. What I noticed before the clock went out, it started fading.

I'm going to get my battery replaced today to see if that would help. But if anyone has any ideas that could help me with the problem. It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

most likely, all your problems will be gone after new battery installed. Don't panic if your won't start on first try.

Just got the battery, same problems. Could it be some fuses that could've blown?

Is there a back up battery located somewhere that saves all the settings? Because I changed the main battery and once I shut the car down, I everything is reset (clock, windows, etc) and I can't unlock the car until I restart the car again.

This happened to me before when i was replacing my head unit. Check all your fuses under your hood. If Im correct it should be the fuse right beside your dome light fuse that is blown. Im pretty sure its a number 10 fuse

Thanks Drake! I'm going to swing by the store tomorrow and pick me up a couple of fuses.

I just went out into the rain and looked for the fuse, and yes you are correct that fuse was blown, so I switched it out with another fuse (that I don't know what the hell that one does) and it solved the problem.

Saved me a lot of trouble in taking out my navi again to check for any loose wires!

Thanks again Drake.
