Default Does my IS have the old sport pkg?

Ok, so I asked this question a while back. I received a lot of helpful answers, I was recommended to contact Lexus, so I did. They told me I have the premium edition. I have a 2006 IS350 btw. I bought my car used from a shady dealer lol no problems yet except the whole water pump thing. I was looking at some pics of F Sport springs and was checking the wheel gap on them, my wheel gap looks pretty similar to some of the pics I saw. The dude who originally owned my car was a bro, he went with no nav system(which I like because it ruins the flow of the interior), but got the perforated heated/cooled seats and the 18" wheel upgrade with a black interior and red wood, and some nice mirror'd tint. He really knew what he was doing, so maybe the original owner put sport springs on my car too? I'll post pics with measurements on them. Forgive me for having a DIRTY car, bad winters in Pittsburgh.

The pics make the gap look worse than it is in real life. I can fit two fingers comfortably in the front gap Some of the pics are showing my GFs lowered 350z for comparison.

Perforated heated/cooled seats along with a wood trim means car has premium package. All 350s come with 18" wheels; that is not an upgrade and your wheels are aftermarket by the way. Ride height looks stock to me.

I don't think you have the sport pkg. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the sport pkg includes, aluminum sport pedals, gray interior accents instead of wood grain, and I think different springs in the rear that lowers the car a bit. I have an 06 is350 with the sport pkg.

I don't think you have the sport package. FYI - the 350 came with 18" wheels and are staggered (meaning larger tires in the rear 225 v 255) the wheels you have are aftermarket and may have been marketed as "upgrades." (Which they are I suppose). I would look to see if the previous owner did anything with the suspension. If not, look at getting them replaced. You have no idea what shock springs (or coils if you're looking at modifying that heavily) and some sway bars can do for that vehicle.

Nice pick up and welcome to CL

From what I can tell from the limited pictures, it looks like you are riding on stock OEM Springs. IMHO, the best mods to make the IS driving experience more enjoyable would be some suspension mods like springs (coil overs) and a set of sway bars. Good luck with the car.

Congrats on the new car and welcome to CL.

Sport package giveaways:
aluminum pedals
aluminum door sill plates
power adjustable steering wheel
heated/ventilated perforated seats
standard gray plastic trim, not wood
memory seats

needs to have all of these

Haha, in my neck of the woods, a bro means you're "the man".

TY guys I researched the F sport springs a little and some people were complaining about them being progressive and not linear and that it hurt the cars performance in many situations. Know anything about that?

Well that settles it then.. I have memory/heated/ventilated seats, and... nothing else lol. I might be getting an HID conversion kit. My lights are really dim right now.

sport package does not come with memory seats or the power tilt steering wheel, those are luxury package options. everything else is correct
