Alright i got my oem stock headers with 50k on them what i want to know is are they worth more sold as parts for some one on here or just to trash them at the junk yard and get money for the cat converts lol they were 100% working

 

Being as that very few people ever swap headers and they're not exactly a part that fails very often if ever, you would be lucky to have anyone come take them from you for free.

 

I would post them on eBay. Do a "Buy it now, or best offer" for $500. You never know...... I've sold stuff that way in the past. Hell, I bought new headlight assemblies from Sewell for $550, and then posted my old ones for sale. I got $175 for one and $135 for the other (Win!). Post the ad as "good until cancelled" and you only pay for posting it the one time.

it's illegal to sell used catalytic converters (except to scrap/recycling) unless they've been recertified by someone

this will vary a bit from state to state- but generally just selling a used cat for someone else to put on their car is against the law.

 

I didnt know it was illegal lol i used to buy used and sell them all the time with my other cars just trying to see if they are worth more than just scraping them ... i would post on ebay but they are not light and both ebay and paypal fees would just be the same as scraping lol
