Default How to fix vled turn signals hyper fast blinking?

Got the 7443 led bulbs installed in the rear turn signals and they are blinking really fast.

Would I need 1 of these or 2?

Some one correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there is only one flasher. It's located under the dash right above the brake pedal. The color of the stock flasher is blue. I replaced mine the other day when I upgraded to the 2012 headlights.

I replaced mine with a stock 2011-2012 flasher, but I do not have LEDs in the tails. So the one in the link you posted is the correct one. LEDs have different resistance draw, therefore causing the hyper flashing.

I have 7440 leds in my tails and installed the said flasher. The hyper flash has been fixed, but the lock and unlock flash no longer functions.

I had the same issue until i purchased a FLASHER BLINKER TURN SIGNAL FIX

http://www.v-leds.com/Electronic-Fla...-p4957253.html

Parking light flash confirmation WILL function as normal.

Worked awesome for me, I highly recommending purchasing it if you are using LED turn signal lights. Oh and it is really simple to install, just remove the factory one below the dash (behind the steering wheel).

Nate,
When you press lock or unlock, do your lights still flash?

I too have the VLED turn signal flasher which works with the confirmation flash.

I am working on a modified stock flasher which works with the LED's by using changing the resistor which is in the stock one. The original stock flasher (which is sort of like green if I recall), I had removed it for safe keeps and purchased another stock flasher and work on it.

yes it does, my first flasher module did not work. I purchased the new updated version from v-leds to get that function working.

What LED's are you using? Are they are on both front and back?

bump

does anyone have the vled flasher and can confirm that the flash confirmation does work?

I just installed the ijdmtoy flasher and lost my lock/unlock flash confirmation. I'm pretty set on keeping this function so might try out the vleds one...

fwiw this is for a 2009 is250

Wondering this is well. I bought a set of LED turn signal bulbs for the front and rear. My car is an 08 IS250.

Edit: Nate, could you link to the flasher relay again? The other link leads me to a 404 error.

I modified my OEM flasher. Free and I still get lock/unlock confirmation!

Check out this DIY in my build thread.
