Ok, ive done a bit more research, and I will most likely get the H&R or Eibachs..because:
F-Sport Springs on a non F-Sport setup make the ride VERY rough, to the point of some CL members stating it moves their headlight bulbs around. From what you all have said, Eibach and H&R's are the way to go for springs. If i wanted to spend 1k id get coilovers, but that is just not an option at this point. I do want a conservative drop, but not to the point where I barely notice it. SO!
Between the H&R's, and Eibachs, which one gives the lowest drop?? That will be what I will purchase, assuming both wont drop my car a relatively over-extensive amount.
EDIT***
thank you all again for helping me with my decision. This has been extremely helpful!
You can get a set of Megan EZ coils for ~$600 btw.
I'm running Hotchkiss springs, the ride is really good, not bumpy at all was the drop is perfect for me.
And you cant beat $80, let me know if you're interested and ill dig up the link.
Yes! Please. 80 bucks almost sounds too good to be true.. but ill bite. How long have you had them?
Ive been doin some research on the H&R's however, and the spacing is exactly what I want with those springs. Sorry if this is a slap on the wrist to post links from other lexus forum sites, but I found a good example of what I wanted here. These are H&R's:
theres also a 20% or so code floating around so they come too around $90. I'll try and find it for you later.
I've had them on for about 2 months
significantly better than the 230 bucks i was going to spend on H&R's. I wonder why they are so much cheaper? I did a little bit of research, they seem to be well reviewed.
TTechLexus, do you have a pic of your car/drop? thanks!
For the money you are looking to spend, you can maybe get a set of springs (new or used) from our vendors or the classifieds. if it was me, I would save a little more money and make sure I get a nice set of springs or coil overs. Nothing looks better than an IS that is lowered. From there I would get sway bars, intake and exhaust. Then I would go with JDM visors, illuminated door sills, front lip (or body kit) and HIDs. That's if you are seriously thinking about modifying the IS. Prepare to spend a lot of $$$. Good luck with the mods!
I was checking out F-Sport sway bars on ebay, running me about 400 bucks. Is there a cheaper alternative that would significantly increase the handling of my vehicle?

Lowering your car will improve the handling,
You can get both sway bars but the rear one makes the most difference. For the best price, check the classiffieds or get it from Sewell
