Default AWD Tire question

Guys,

Did a search and I see that going to 17 x 7.5 will fit on my 2006 AWD, but I am wondering since I have the stock tires/rims ( 17 x 8.0 with 225/45VR17 all-season tires ), can I reuse those tires on 17x7.5 Rims?

Will the tires look odd/be different/handle differently? They have about 8k miles.

The difference is size will likely not be noticeable. The tires will fit on that size wheel just fine. Depending on offset it may be slightly different, but not much.

there are some knock off ebay Fsport rims that look appealing--i just do not see paying $500 bucks a rim for the F Sport ones
